Addiction Treatment Programs

Located in Arlington, Virginia, Encore offers partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and general outpatient treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Encore also offers general outpatient programming for mental health challenges, process addiction, and trauma. Offering these various levels of care at one location and with one dedicated treatment team enables Encore to offer addiction treatment programs to patients who are in various stages of change and recovery, and supports a fluid transition in the continuum of care as patients transition from one program to another.

Encore recognizes that addiction is not only a complex disease in terms of how it affects each individual person both physically and mentally, but also that life circumstances play a large role in how that person is able to receive care. Time is one of the simplest but most deciding factors in whether people decide to receive treatment or not. Many individuals feel that addiction treatment programs are only for those who have ample time to commit to them–this is untrue. Encore’s addiction treatment programs are structured to pay respect to this crucial element of care planning–providing quality treatment regardless of whether a patient can commit full-time hours or just a few hours a week.

Our PHP meets for approximately 30 hours a week. Our IOP is offered 3, 4, or 5 days a week. Services are provided during the day as well as in the evening to provide ample consideration towards people’s unique life circumstances and scheduling availability. Encore’s GOP provides two 90-minute group therapy sessions each week which entail a wide range of services, though it is strongly recommended that this program is best suited for individuals who have completed higher levels of care prior with Encore or another institution.
